Pristina, February 8

The achievements in the field of cultural heritage as well as this year’s projects have been topics of discussion at the meeting between the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Memli Krasniqi with Ms. Margaret Husen, Secretary General of the Swedish organization, CHwB (Cultural Heritage Without Borders).

Minister Krasniqi informed Ms. Husen about the heritage situation and the projects implemented so far. He said that heritage is on the list of his top priorities for this term, and positive steps are expected to be taken in this direction. Minister Krasniqi said that cooperation between MCYS and CHwB has been quite good, and expressed readiness to increase this cooperation.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of CHwB, Ms. Margaret Husen, recognized the positive developments in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in Kosovo. She said CHwB is keen to assist with further contributions, working closely with MCYS.
