Program Manager
Adea Mekuli is the Programme Coordinator for “Culture for Growth”. She has been working with CHwB Kosovo since 2017 in various engagements. She has prior working experience with conservation and restauration of archaeological sites from the collaboration in work activities with the Institute of Archaeology of Kosovo. She has considerable experience with foreign donor projects in terms of identification, monitoring and evaluation of projects due to her 5 years of experience in working with the coordination of development assistance in the Ministry of European Integration. Additionally, she has worked on the development of sector policies and strategic documents for the sector of environment for Government Institutions and Donor Agencies. Alongside institutional engagements Adea has been constantly working for several Architecture and Urban Design companies on different commissions. Adea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and Spatial Planning from the University for Business and Technology in Prishtina where she graduated with Honours. She has completed with Merit the Master of Science degree in Architectural Engineering: Environmental Design at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. She is certified in project management by the International Labour Organisation in Turin in Project Cycle Management and by Axelos in Cambridge in PRINCE 2 Foundation and Practitioner. She is trained in sustainable management of natural resources from the Japanese Government and continues to give her contribution towards sustainable safeguarding of cultural heritage, promotion of the notion of common heritage, integration and inter generation equity.
