Heritage Space IV

“DHÉ” Atelier / Handmade / Granita Grezda

Jul 30 - 2020

“DHÉ” Atelie opened as a result of a project by Granita Grezda, who is a beneficiary of the fourth edition of Heritage Space.

“During four months, I have worked closely with craft professionals. Our collaboration has resulted in the creation of several new works that combine the craftsmanship skills with new product designs that bring our collective cultural heritage in a new form. It is a great pleasure to present to you our unique creations that intertwine different techniques, materials and forms” said Granita Grezda on the opening of the atelier.

DHÉ atelier, besides offering space for the creation of new works as well as their promotion, will offer craft lovers the opportunity to purchase them, while enabling further collaboration between arts & crafts professionals. This network will pave the way for the rich craftsmanship culture in Kosovo to find alternative ways into the market.

The works are done in collaboration with these craftsman:

Arta Rudaku

Gjyke Haziraj

Jasmine Morina

Shkumbin Shehu

Mimoza Berisha Karaqica

Etleva Haxhia

Kosovare Avdiu

The project has been produced by Heritage Space platform which is implemented by CHwB Kosovo. This activity is part of the “Inter-Community Dialogue through inclusive Cultural Heritage Preservation” project implemented by the United Nations Development Programme UNDP Kosovo and financed by the European Union Kosovo Instrument for Peace and Stability (IcSP / EU) and the Swedish Government.

The atelier is located next to Swiss Embassy in Prishtina.
