CALL FOR APPLICATION: Restore & Reuse Old Furniture of Hivzi Sulejmani House

We invite all interested students of the field of architecture, civil engineering, cultural heritage, arts and other related fields to apply for the “Heritage Lab” Workshop

DATES: 10 – 19 MAY, 2022

HERITAGE LAB is an educational project organized by CHwB Kosovo aiming to create new opportunities for students of architecture, cultural heritage and other related fields to learn about methods of documentation, preservation, revival and interpretation of cultural heritage through “hands on” practical work and complementary lectures. HERITAGE LAB is an activity developed “in situ”, so that the problems of a heritage site are surveyed directly and the solutions for its treatment, interpretation and management are given at the same time.

From 10 to 19 May 2022, CHwB Kosova in partnership with Shtatëmbëdhjetë (17) is organizing a Restoration Camp at Hivzi Sulejmani House in Prishtina, where around 20 students and new professionals will learn the techniques of restoring old furniture and reuse them for the new artists' residence.

This workshop is implemented by CHwB Kosovo in partnership with Shtatëmbëdhjetë (17) and is financed by Embassy of Sweden through SIDA.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SITE
