The tradition of celebrating the European Heritage Days in Kosovo, was initiated by CHwB in year 2003. In year 2006, it was organised under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports where CHwB has implemented number of activities.

For marking the European Heritage Days in 2005, CHwB Kosovo has selected the theme of Kosovar wedding. This tradition is a part of the rich intangible heritage and it was performed and documented in the village of Drenoc in Deçan.
