Yesterday, at the CHwB Kosovo offices, we welcomed officials from the [Komuna e Ulqinit / Opština Ulcinj / Municipality of Ulcinj], our project partner in “S.T.E.P. in Community Museums”, to coordinate the final details ahead of the start of activities, which will officially begin in early September.
This is the first cross-border project between the Municipality of Ulcinj and Kosovo, and for us, as the project lead, this cooperation marks an important step towards:
- Advancing the Ethnographic Museum at Ulcinj Castle;
- Interpreting the heritage of the Castle;
- Establishing a Community Museum in Junik, serving the Dukagjin region.
The official launch of the project will take place next month at Ulcinj Castle, officially marking the beginning of this cross-border cooperation.
This initiative has been developed by CHwB Kosovo and the Municipality of Ulcinj as part of the [C.L.O.S.ER. project], with the support of the [IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Montenegro–Kosovo.
