The fair “Traditional Embroideries of Prizren” presents 20 specimens woven on a loom and embroidered with a needle, needle-made lace, and photographs of embroideries.
The specimens were created by Arife Siqeca (1924–1995). She completed the women’s vocational school and the normal school in Prizren. She worked in education from 1946 to 1982.
These specimens were made around the years 1945–1950. They will be passed on to future generations as inspiration for the further development of folk art today.
The fair is opened in honor of the European Heritage Days – 2012.
