Culture Tour 2008 is a leisure bicycle tour from Peja/Pec to Gjakova/Djakovica, via Isniq/ Isnic, Deçan/Decane and Junik. The tour will stop for discovery and refreshment at various cultural heritage sites on the way (bring your cameras). In between, enjoy the beautiful country and scenery of Dukagjini region. The Culture Tour will avoid main roads and is guided by competent staff. It is a leisure tour that will suit most reasonably fit women and men of all ages with a reliable every day bicycle. If you feel like using another type of nonmotorised transport (jogging, skating, horse, etc.) please feel free to do so, for part or for the whole trip. If you have a mobility impairment, please inform us and we will seek a solution. The tour starts from Peja/Pec train station at 9h30 with a warm-up tour through the city .
It will call in Deçan/Decane round 11h30 for refreshments and in Junik round 13h30 for lunch. It will be welcomed in Gjakova/Djakovica at 16h30. The length of the entire trip is 55 km. Chartered buses will return participants and bicycles to Peja/Pec round 18h00.
