Youth Camp on Cultural Heritage Unites Students from Four Municipalities

Yesterday, the Youth Camp on Cultural Heritage began, bringing together around 50 high school students from four municipalities of Kosovo, representing different communities, to learn and discuss cultural heritage.

Throughout the day, the young participants had the opportunity to attend several presentations and lectures on various topics related to cultural heritage. After each presentation, they had space to discuss, share their thoughts and experiences, and ask questions that helped deepen their understanding of the topics covered.

The camp was opened by Alban Morina from CHwB Kosovo, who spoke about the importance of cultural heritage and led a dynamic discussion with the youth. This was followed by a presentation by Sejnur Veshall-i on Roma cultural heritage, sparking valuable conversations about cultural diversity. The activity continued with a screening of the documentary “N’Rilindje,” after which the author, Ervina Halili, discussed with participants the importance of archiving and the role of Rilindja for Albanians.

The Youth Camp continues today with additional activities aimed at engaging young people in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.
