Today, the CHwB Kosova team, led by Executive Director Sali Shoshi, together with Program Manager Adea Mekuli and Project Manager Erinë Mulolli-Zajmi, held a meeting with the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Saranda Bogujevci. The meeting took place in the context of the visit of experts from Ukraine, Nataliia Dziubenko and Vitaly Hrabar, who specialize in the digitization and documentation of cultural heritage and are contributing to the program implemented by CHwB Kosova.
During the meeting, CHwB Kosova presented its ongoing work within the training program on the digitization and documentation of museum collections, which is being held this week at the Mitrovica Museum. Through this program, the organization is working directly with museum staff in Kosovo, building professional capacities for the use of 2D and 3D technologies in preserving cultural heritage.
The parties exchanged experiences and ideas regarding the progress of the training and discussed the importance of digitization as a sustainable tool for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage. The presence of international experts was highlighted as an important opportunity for professional exchange and advancement of practices in this field.
This program is implemented by CHwB Kosova in cooperation with experts from the Ukrainian Heritage Monitoring Lab (HeMo), with the support of Cultural Emergency Response (CER) from the Netherlands and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The training began online on April 14 and is continuing from April 20 to 24 with the practical component at the Mitrovica Museum.
