Main Project Objectives

• Strengthen collaboration between Kosovo and North Macedonia through shared cultural heritage;
• Create and promote the Mother Teresa Cultural Route as a unique cultural and tourism experience;
• Improve visitor access to important heritage sites along the route;
• Encourage local economic growth by connecting communities to tourism opportunities;

Main Project Outcomes

• A digital map of key sites, including their history and accessibility;
• Enhanced interpretation content (storytelling) on Mother Teresa’s early life;
• Restoration of two heritage sites, preserving cultural identity;
• Improved accessibility and signage for visitors and pilgrims;
• The route becomes part of national and regional cultural tourism offers;
