This document contains an analysis of municipal expenditures for the sectors of culture, youth, sports, and recreation for the years 2018–2021 in the western municipalities of Kosovo: Deçan, Gjakova, Istog, Junik, Klina, and Peja. The directorate responsible for these fields is the Directorate of Culture, Youth, and Sports. Therefore, the analysis presented below for each municipality focuses on this directorate. More detailed data exists for 2018, while for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021 only projections for total expenditures (and not sub-categories) have been used.
The first part of this analysis contains summarized data for all six municipalities, while the second part includes the strategic priorities of the municipalities in the sectors of culture and recreation. This information is drawn mainly from the Medium-Term Budget Framework (MTBF) of each municipality. This publication is available at this link and is only in the Albanian language.
